"That's good. Y'all not mad at me.." Courtney said alittle sad

"Of course not now that we know whats going down I wasn't mad then just alittle shocked" I said

"Good, I  was just still tripping I had just had a fight with the baby's father. But I think you should go for it with Lex it's you choice. " Courtney said

" That reminds me, who is the father?.." Venessa said as we all looked at common

"Uh, Um, I..I don't think I'm ready to let you know yet, okay" She said diverting our glances

"Aiight, okay, it's cool" we all said

We stayed at her house until 7 'o' clock just talking about all the stuff she was going through and what was going to happen. We were all going to chip in and of course we'd all be godparents by age. We then planned on going with her to her ultrasound  in two weeks to try and see the babies sex. I hope its a girl though common wants a baby because she couldn't handle going through what her mom was going through now that she's pregnant. But Common wouldn't be in school for a few weeks so we'd just bring her all of her schoolwork so she wouldn't fail because you know in our clique noone fails its just not going to happen.

With all that was going on I forgot to call Lex and schedule our date but was totally reminded when I saw him the next day at school in the lunchroom, he barely seemed to notice me like he was frontin' for his boys. But then something so grimey happened. I was talking to V. about the test in Mr Letnix's class when I saw that cow Dawn Pass by us with a devilish grin and go towards the jock block. Though I wasn't studding her Dana all of a sudden spit her milk out when she saw Dawn sit down on Lex's lap and her girls grabbed two of the other jocks all over them like white on rice it was sick.

"Oh I can't believe this s**t" was all we could say I got up with Dana and V.  right behind me as we walked over to the table. We saw the whole lunchroom turn and face our direction. Lex looked as if he were happy I came over and Dawn along with her groupies Kiki and Michelle were getting up as we approached to get in our face

"Excuse me your in my way" I said with an atta

"Well that' was the whole point, what do you need" Dawn said

"Well first we need yo bony a** to move out our way" Dana said

"Don't start nothing you can't finish" Michelle said

"oh don't worry you'll know way before I'm finished" Dana said as I held her back. when Lex came over with a grin so stupid on his face.

"hey ladies no need to fight is there a problem" he said

"Hell yea you and this monkey brigade in front of me" V. said as she stepped in his face

"Look I don't know what you talking bout" he sadi acting like he lost his mind

" You know just what we were talking how you just tried to play my girl with sloppy seconds" Dana said

" Look she's the one who tried to play me I gave her an invitation and she nevr RSVP'd, you know" He said smiling as he pulled Dawn to his side "now I'm taken"

As we looked at them in front of us we looked at each other and started laughing

" You tried to replace me or make me jealous with.. that" I said with a laugh " look I thought you had good taste but now I know your just a fool." I said as we started to walk towards the door still laughing.

" Well you can tell yo gurl Courtney, Jimmie said the sex was good but that aint his baby" Lex said smiling a devilish grin and the whole jock table started laughing, we stopped turned around and V. started to run and jump on him but we grabbed her and said "He aint worth it" but  she said "none of them have any type of balls to be called a man" and she spit at him. The laughing stopped then.

When we left Venessa went off

" I can't believe Common is having Jimmie Marcus' baby it's just unbelieveable we gotta go see her let's go find the girls and get up outta here before I get even more worse meet me in the lot in five minutes or I'm outta here." She said and was gone to find the girls.

On our way to the car we were still trying to get our heads together when we literally bumped into somone I know Dana was not happy to see. It was her ex-boyfriend Mike Johnson her first love, first kiss and first everything. He was the one and only person who Dana was ever really mushy and soft around which is very unusual for her. They were together for  almost 3 years, they'd been together since ninth grade and it was serious. They were like peaches and cream or milk and cookies they knew each other like the back of their hands. But it all went down when he went to basketball camp for the school team this past summer and when she came to visit as a surprise she got the surprise, she caught him and one of the cheerleaders in the social room doing the unspeakable, to break it down he cheated and she kicked him to the curb and pulled that girl's hair out as she dragged her outside in the dirt, naked!. It must've been a funny sight because it sounds that way. We weren't there.

Well anyways he was getting out of his car and she almost ran into the door.

"Oh. I'm sorry... Hey.." he said in a slow, sexy, deep voice that Dana described as what attracted her to him besides his looks and smarts.

"Hey.." Dana said as they stared at each other, you could see the fireworks that were still there in the way they were looking at each other.

" So how you been?" she said

"I'm good but could be better" he said looking at her in a sexy way as I saw her start fidgeting trying to lose his gaze, so, I knew it was my time to leave.

"I'll leave you two alone, I'll meet you at the car remeber five minutes" I said as I walked away

"How are you?.." he said

"I'm fine, um, I'm just having alittle bit of friend drama lately" She said followed by an awkward silence.

"Well, at least your cool," he said lookin her directly in the eyes "I would love to have more time to talk to you.."

"Look, I don't think so, after that incident I'm not on your stuff" Dana said getting an atta

"Look, Day, I said I was sorry and I've never forgiven myself but that was nothing to me, I loved you then and I still do" he said

"Look I thought it was something and if you really loved me you wouldn't have cheated on me so you can take that s**t somewhere and bury it, you dog!!" Dana yelled at him and turned to walk away but he grabbed her and kissed her gently and sweetly like he did after they first said they loved each other. 

"Will you please meet me at Mickey's tommorrow at 6 please, Day" he said still holding her and looking her straight in the eyes.

"I..I..I'll see .." She said still shocked from the kiss and walked away towards Venessa's car.
